Bullying is impossible to defeat. Since it is more than one person acting against someone. Your own word against a group of people bullying you, and you think a report action can save you? I have chosen never to report anyone, and instead hope that the staff deals with the troublemakers.

Two days late, but Happy Gunpowder Day!!!

Heh, no. Well originally it was one of those odd propaganda-ish holidays in the U.K. that celebrated the day a plot to destroy Parliament (using a crapton of kegs of gunpowder) was thwarted at the last minute. The old celebrations involved annually tossing effigies of Guy Fawkes (who was the antagonist in the plot) into fire. Other kids dress up as the character and in a pseudo Halloween style tradition, will ask for money with the phrase, "Penny for the Guy?" The money donated was to purchase fuel and pyrotechnics for the festivities. Lots of revelry was naturally involved too, so maybe think like a much more mild version of 'Burning Man.'
Since then, like with a number of national holidays which people later realized were kind of brain-washy, it has evolved greatly into something else. For some it's now a celebration of patriotism, not just for the winner of such plots or struggles, but the loser as well. 'V for Vendetta' cemented this new vision of Gunpowder Day into a sort of celebration of rebellions against tyranny. Guy Fawkes masks are now common at protests and also the symbol of "Anonymous" as a result.
For others now though it's simply an extra fun day to shoot off a ton of fireworks.

@Sparklefan1234 I know you told me that you weren't directing anything at me with that post a while back, but that image of AJ in that "party sad" meme really stuck in my head and probably had at least some influence on where this vid took me.
I don't know if you had seen this yet, but... I hope this was a worthy tribute to AJ's joining the team. -

I removed the current discussion and reposted it as it would only cause more confusion if I left it as is, so apologies for the revised version of the message. Jeric closed all the teams to new players as of just an hour ago. None of us saw it coming. There 'might' be a final wave of invitees, if we're still alive at that point, and if so, I'll send a new notification if you want. As it stands now, the new status message can only request affirmative replies from users requesting to be added to a notification list, which I will use at the right times. Thanks for giving me a heads up though. I had just gotten a non-teamed user to test the function for me within the last hour, and everything was working then.

Dear former instructor. You have received this message because you were previously a coach on Team Moon in the Pony World Cup.
You may be unaware of this, but due to a series of regrettable occurrences which resulted in a dangerous reshaping of the dreamscape that has entrapped us, all teams were partially disbanded. No direct communications were sent from any source to notify those who were displaced of what took place, leaving little besides breadcrumbs of information to be found, for those who were fortunate enough to stumble upon them.
The purpose of this message is twofold.
First of all, this means yes, you lost your position on the team as a result of the spacial rift. Due to reasons beyond our control, teams are presently closed to new invites.
Secondly, Team Moon may have been thrown off balance by the unexpected tremor, but we have regrouped, are still fighting, and aim to pursue this tournament to the very end, and put an end to Grogar's treachery once and for all!
If you are still interested in serving the greater good of Equestria and joining with Team Moon once again, simply respond affirmatively to this message with a post or a brohoof/emote, and I will send you notifications for when our matches are active, so you can easily remember to cast your vote without the need to regularly check the World Cup section of the forums for updates. If team invites open up again, you will also be notified so you will have an opportunity to jump in during the short window of opportunity.
If you have no further interest in this endeavor, I shall not trouble you with these matters any further.
Regardless of your decision, may the Light of the Moon guide you through your darkest hours.
