Respect? If you're part of the staff, consider yourself on that list. You guys do stuff I could never even dream of doing: actually being proficient with a computer. 

 

I'd also like to specifically mention Harmonic Revelations. Y'always seem to make me laugh. And that makes you a winner by me.

 

Aside from that, "respect" isn't the best term. I mean, I like everyone here until they prove otherwise, which has only happened once or twice, so... Y'all are my bros!

I guess there are some I respect here, but I am not going to name anyone specific. I don't want to inflate egos and leave people out...All that jazz. There are also quite a few people I do not respect here. That list would be pretty big if I named them all. I am not going to say I fully 'respect' someone just because and I expect the same for myself so if I did make a list, it wouldn't be too big. I guess this is why I am not too fond of this thread. Respect is kinda used as a very loose term and it seems just being random and witty every now and again can earn it from some. To me, that is not what respect should be. Plus, of course, it can inflate egos and potentially upset/anger those who are left out but that is just my opinion entirely.

I suppose I could reiterate the whole spiel about the true meaning of respect that's been flying around - after all, I'm ordinarily of the strong mindset that trust, love and respect are things to be earned, not given away carelessly - but really, as long as the people who converse with me on these forums conduct themselves in a respectful manner (even if they vehemently disagree with something I say), they get a thumbs-up in my book.

 

It's only those who can't find it within themselves to be respectful to me whom I can't bring myself to respect. That's just who I am; what you dish out to me, I shall dish out to you in equal or greater quantity. Quite luckily, I've only run into an infinitesimally small number of such people within the sea of awesome folks I've met so far. (Besides, I am in no way obligated to associate with those who've made it onto my shit-list anyway, so hey - no harm, no foul.)

 

Speaking of obligatory stuff, respects to the staff who keep this place tidy. Predictable, I know, but forum administration and moderation is a tougher and more thankless job than many realize, so I kind of have to tip my hat to y'alls. If I were ever offered a position of modship on any website, rest assured I'd decline in a heartbeat. And extra kudos for moderating a site dedicated to MLP - the #1 fandom with a constant shitstorm brewing at any given moment in time. Scary, scary stuff, man.

 

As for other respects to be paid, I give them to the friends who put up with my shenanigans on a regular basis (too tired/scatterbrained to make a coherent list ATM, but I'm sure y'all know who you are).

 

Extra respects go out to those of my friends who've recently (or not-so-recently) been undergoing some rough shit in life. As someone who's been wading through a sea o' dookie for as long as I can remember, I have the utmost empathy and admiration for those with the inner strength to pull through during their darkest of hours.

 

And if I absolutely have to single out at least one member, even at the risk of embarrassing him, it's @Thunderchild. Guy's been around the block, and he's a veritable goldmine of wisdom. A sort of...wise-mine, if you will. Not to be confused with a wise-ass, such as yours truly.

Well, I respect everyone else on the staff of course, they all seem like levelheaded fellas. I don't want to say I respecct any specific members, but I do respect a lot of the stuff the artists and musicians do around here, heck I respect anyone else who is a brony, especially those who are open about it.

I respect most people on the forum, especially the moderators and Feld0 they are what keeps the forum great. I really do mean that.

 

I respect all of my friends, I really don't want to put them all up. I can't actually they are so many, so if you are my friend or have been my friend then know that I respect you. Although some people have just added me randomly, I often get to know them later on and I respect almost everyone. Earning my respect is not easy and honestly I respect very few people, but those who I do respect have all earned it one way or another. I respect those who are nice and friendly.

 

Although there is one thing that makes me automatically respect you, that is if you're a fan of Fluttershy.

Well, as much as I'd love to be able to make a long list of detailed explanations explaining why I respect everyone, since I basically respect everyone here to some degree or another. The only time I don't respect people is after they prove they don't deserve respect or something.

 

Anyways, while I would make a list and all, I don't want to because first of all, I know i'd forget someone, someone important to me maybe even, because honestly I have the memory of like a goldfish or something . Also I'd wear my hands out and it'd be late by the time i'd finish anyways. So I am gonna skip out on actually listing it all out.

 

However I do respect everyone here basically, and I do so until I feel they have proven otherwise like I said. 

 

I particularly respect any who I have had a fun time chatting with on occasions wherever it may be, maybe a status update, or forum games, or even just a discussion thread or skype or something. Aswell as the ones here who have helped comfort me in the many times I get depressed and down, especially as of late. And also to everyone who puts up with my annoying complaining I do kinda frequently in my status updates, because I know it gets really old eventually.

 

But regardless I think the people I have any extra respect for then most know who they are. Of course I respect everyone here again, because everyone here is real nice and awesome, which is why i've stayed here so long.

 

Also thanks to everyone who mentions me as someone they respect, its nice to know someone has me cross their minds while posting this.

 

Regardless I have a respect for everypony, and thats one of the reasons I love this place, because the people here are kinda to awesome not to respect really .

I'm not exactly the most summarized person, In general I repeat myself alot xD. But I'm glad that you agree with my statements.

 

I've done one or two of these threads and tried to post people, but its so much work to get to everyone, and even then I forget someone, so it makes me feel bad.

 

And yeah, even as a person who doesn't like to make enemies, I'm surprised i've yet to make any.

I'm going to state this as a continual response towards every member, I respect everyone.

 

Any person I meet here on the forums are always respected by me, and I treat them like everyone else.

 

Despite meeting some people here who are depressing or moody or shy, I enjoy chatting with them despite if they don't find me alright in general. (I'm talking to you Atdawntheysquee. JK.)

 

Overall, everyone is ok and great, anybody is respected in my book.
