Well, my exam week is nearing its end. Just studied some chemistry, and I have no idea if tomorrow's test is going to be alright. Chances are very good that I just didn't know the actual things we needed to know. It's a common problem with our chemistry classes, and I, uh, missed almost all of those classes because of my illness. Ech, it'll be alright.

So, uh,

I have, but Way, Way back when I first joined the site.  It has been said (by deGrasse, I think) that Asimov was the last true polymath, and that science and knowledge is now too large for any one individual to hold a overview; I think that was shortsighted though; with the internet, there is no limit to what you can learn, only your desire to do so.  Never lose the desire to learn, my friend.

I heard or read about this and I think that it is unfornetely the truth. We are living in gold century of science and it is wonderful. But I also think that one human even very capable can't learn all this present knowledge in his mind! scientifically boop for @CypherHoof

There is much of truth in that too, but I think you can get enough of the big picture to at least be able to understand in general, even if you can't be a specialist in more than one or two areas.

But given my memory is generally quite good, I must hang my head in shame at having forgotten the detail of your profile :'(

In this case you are right. We can't know everything with details but "generally picture of the world, and science" - still. It seems to me that I have some idea of such a picture.

She is simply abusing high alicorn metabolism, which doth slow with age not, and her natural unfading beauty *giggle-snort* She liketh them too much and sweets, and icecream, and tons of other stuff. I bewonder forsooth how she can squeeze in some things I can't see without shuddering, but so is Tia.

And she does make adorable pancakes. But my own preference is for the savory, rather than the sweet, so I do find an obsession with cakes perplexing..
