A lot of things now are, unfortunately. #1 on my list is gas. Least I get to work home one day a week now.

I highly doubt Friendship is Magic would be getting the same attention throughout its run if the Student Six were the main focus from the very beginning. A show called "My Little Pony" isn't going to last if it starts with a vast majority of non-pony characters.

I’m kinda surprised it took YouTube this long to do this. I think back to the time Netflix removed ratings because Amy Schumer bitched about them. If your content sucks, it’s not the viewers’ fault, it’s yours.

We have a couple of those in my neck of the woods. Their food’s okay, if not a little overrated.

As long as it's not overexposure, I'm fine with it. Dragons have always been an integral part of My Little Pony, so I'd count on seeing those at least.

I’ve given some thought about living in other fictional worlds, including Equestria. As long as there isn’t an ongoing threat, I’d be open to it. Seems pretty safe as of the finale for now.

Closed-minded people along with people who make all sorts of assumptions about others while at the same time claiming not to be prejudiced. Respect is a two-way street.

Kind of expected it since G4 was also PG. Can't really go back to aiming for G when you already know the material your audience expects.

Sounds like it’s a working title. Here’s hoping they come up with something better. It’s too plain.

Ever since I heard more about it last week, my expectations have been pretty low. I'll still give it a fair shot.

I didn't mind post count not applying to spam topics like forum games. To take it away overall just doesn't make sense.

As long as G5 avoids hot-button topics like FiM mostly did, it should be in good hands. I'll have to wait until we see more of the main character's "activist" qualities before I can make a full analysis. Here's hoping they're careful with the protagonist's traits, because I don't sympathize with one who is too preachy.

I don't mind the themes of diversity and inclusion, but both concepts have already been done in such a way that neither can hardly be considered new. G4 did this in the later seasons with the School of Friendship, and before that they've had other beings such as dragons and griffons as main and/or rising characters. I myself didn't mind the Student Six, but some of their storylines were a mixed bag and they took away focus from other members of the cast. Diversity should be focused more about the quality of the characters, not necessarily the appearance.

I'll also withhold judgment until I see the movie, but given what's been going on these past few years I had a feeling I saw it coming. G4 was subtle with its lessons of diversity, but the next one looks to be anything but that. Changing focus from friendship to activism is surely sign of the times.

TPAM had the COVID vaccine.

My life wasn't drastically affected by COVID aside from my gym closing and a planned trip to Florida in May being cancelled. Instead I took a couple of trips away from the house with the furthest being Pennsylvania. The busy season at my job was pushed to July due to tax deadlines being extended three months.

I had two close calls, both among people I work with. In September, someone who visited my office tested positive. In December, my boss tested positive so we had to work from home for one week.

Depends on what other people think famous is.
