Sovereign Leader Rarity

So, quick update just before I take myself off to bed. From this moment onward, until around mid-to-late June, I'm not going to be around very often. Tomorrow, my GCSE's begin, and while I typically take a very laid-back approach to exams, tests, school in general, these are the most important school anything, that I have ever endeavored in my entire life, up to this point.

Bottom line, as much as hate to admit it, I HAVE to revise from now on. I HAVE to bring my A-game, get a good night of sleep, focus my spare time to my education as much as I possibly can. So, I'm sorry in advance. This is somewhat of a temporary goodbye. I may pop in whenever I see an opportunity to do so, but please don't expect anything that major.

Amazing how the time flies, huh? I remember over a month ago, writing that post about taking a break, thinking about the slog of having to sit through my exams, pondering what awaited me in the near future. Well, I am ecstatic to say that my return to the forums is imminent, and that every single exam of mine has now been completed.

Save for one (sadly).

On Friday, I will sit my Product Design exam, my final exam, and then it's back to business as usual. I want to take a moment to thank every single person who has supported me during this...taxing period, and for being patient with my lack of content. Not posting for so long was genuinely unpleasant, and I am SO excited to get back to doing something that I enjoy. And so, until then...

Greetings Everypony, I hope that you are all having a great day!

Although exams are not quite over yet, school (at least in a normal sense) is now officially completed. And I just had to come back to the forums, my second home, to thank each and Everypony who has helped me along my way here. I started the forums back in January 2017 as a confused, unstable and afraid 14 year old with no self-confidence or social skills whatsoever. An now, in May 2018, I am leaving secondary school with a newfound sense of confidence, assertiveness, passion, and friendship. You all made that happen. Coming here, meeting all of you, getting the pleasure of talking to you, interacting with you, it gave me the courage to put my self out there. It changed me for the better, and I am SO grateful to you all for sticking by side, in times high and low.

Life can be rough sometimes. If you blink for even a moment, it can knock you off of your feet. But going forward, with all of you by my side, someway, somehow, I know that I'll always be able come through.

The next step awaits me. I cannot wait to see what lies in store for me in the upcoming years.

We’ve had fun together, laughed together, booped together (though that last one is mainly on me), the list goes on and on.

How life has changed since that faithful day during which I released my first post. Back then I was a mere child who had just moved school and had yet to emerge from their shell. And now, there’s all of this discussion about A-Levels and University, perhaps even the chance of moving abroad to locate new possibilities. I’ve grown a great deal, and all of that is largely thanks to all of you.

Thank you to each and everypony who has traveled this leg of the journey with me, whether it was from the start, or just as of a few mere weeks ago. But now I feel that I must move on, and take the next portion of the journey on my own.

Anyhow, in typical @Rarity the Supreme fashion, it seems like I’m rambling. Let’s drop the curtain on this play by giving a special shoutout to these very special individuals...

Well, well, well...what have we here?

Yes, I'm back everypony. Um, I'm going to keep this brief. 

I know that I said I would depart after my birthday about half a year ago, and back then I had every intention to leave for a long time, if not permanently. Truth be told everypony, I encountered a pretty rough patch of my life over the course of the summer (it's all fine now, don't worry), and it made me realise just how much I miss this place, and all of you to run to whenever my mood happens to be low. With that said, I have decided to return semi-regularly, not necessarily everyday, but definitely at least once or twice a week.

 I look forward to reuniting with you all, and perhaps meeting some new faces as well. Also, I know that some of you become fatigued with being booped all of time, so I'll try and save them for special/unique occasions.

With all of that said, I'm happy to be back, and very much looking forward to experiencing Halloween and the end of MLP: FiM with everypony in the upcoming weeks!

Hey everypony, I know that it's been a while, and umm...I just wanted to address something pretty major (as far as me on this website goes) and, well...here I go.

Now, these past two years on this site have truly been something that I've treasured. I'm deeply thankful too each and every one of you who has supported my content in that time, really, I'm more grateful than you can ever imagine.

However, there is something that has been gnawing away at me for about the past seven months, and I would like to put it to rest. For a long time now, my activity on the forums has been...spotty, infrequent, more akin to random spikes of energy than anything else. And every time that I have brought this phenomenon up in the past it's been me dodging around what's really happening and how I'm really feeling.

With that in mind, and I don't want to make a big show out of this, I have decided that I will no longer visit this website as of April 30th, my birthday, this year. I don't want to go too into detail as to why this is, to be honest it's mostly on me, I think, but suffice to say that I haven't really been...feeling it for a while now. When I joined the forums back in January 2017 I was just some unintelligent, ignorant child, I was depressed out of my mind, I thought that the world owed me something, and this website was an escape and a support system.

I've done a lot of growing in the past couple of years, and though I still have some ways to go, I'd like to think that I'm much better off now than I was back then, I've started to come into my own, and I've improved my confidence tenfold. That, in part, is largely thanks to all of you and this website/community as a whole. Again, I'm deeply grateful for what you've all given to me moving forwards in my life.

But as my mental state improved, and as I've gotten older, the more posting here has seemed like more of a chore that I do out of necessity and because I want to see all of you guys, than something that I do for fun. I've outgrown it, it's lost it's sparkle, whatever you want to call it, I can't deny what I'm feeling.

This forum was great before me, and it's been great without me. I don't really have a place here anymore, and you guys don't need me any longer.

So...yeah...I hope that you can appreciate my decision, it wasn't easy to make, I'll try to post semi-frequently in the next two and a half months and who knows, maybe I'll give you all a look at the being behind the mask. I'll also probably return for a little bit whenever the show wraps up (presumably sometime in the next two years).

Just a quick update real quick, I want to apologize for my continuous and long absences from the forums, Summer break is over and, as my school life enters it's final year, work and keeping up to where I should be has never been harder. I want to stress how temporary this situation is and, that even with my life being all frantic and hectic recently, I'll always have both room and more importantly. time in my life to give to the forums both now, and in the future.

It's going to take a lot more than a few GSCEs to keep me and MLP apart.
